WHAT IS STARS MODEL MANAGEMENT?
Stars Model Management, now celebrating over twenty years of business, is a full service model agency located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Stars, which has consistently enjoyed the reputation as one of the largest, most successful and respected agencies on the West Coast, provides a comprehensive list of services, representing men, women and children for both fashion print and runway, fit modeling and commercial print. The agency is state licensed.

WHAT ARE STARS BUSINESS HOURS?
Stars business hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday, except holidays.

WHAT IS STARS BUSINESS ADDRESS?
Stars is located at 23 Grant Avenue, 4th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94108. The cross streets are Geary and O Farrell.. For driving directions, please consult our website.

HOW DO I GET REPRESENTATION?
Submissions by mail for representation by STARS MODEL MANAGEMENT will be reviewed by agents in the division for which you submit. Submissions may also be made by email at: info@starsmodelmgmt.com or through our website.

ALL submissions to Stars must meet the following guidelines to be considered.

l. You can enclose a self addressed stamped envelope. Please note that due to the volume of submissions we receive, we can not guarantee a response. After the agents have reviewed your materials and are interested in meeting with you they will contact you to schedule an appointment.

2. Please DO NOT submit originals because unfortunately we cannot return any of the materials, including photographs that are submitted to us.

3. Include your age, height and measurements on the back of each picture along with your contact information.

4. Time does not permit us to verify receipt of materials by the Agency.

The following are the guidelines for each department.

*FASHION PRINT AND RUNWAY
Stars has an “open call” for Fashion Models every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m until 4:00 p.m.
Established models wishing to be seen may either call to schedule an appointment or email their portfolio.
We are looking for women 5’8” and over, between the ages of 13 and 24.
We are looking for men 6’ to 6’3”, age 16 and over
Please make sure to bring clear current snapshots for the agents to review. Please bring the following snapshots: a close-up of your face with light or no makeup and a full length body shot. Professional pictures are not necessary.

*PLUS-SIZE (today’s woman, 12+) AND PETITE MODELS
Please send a head shot and a full length shot, height and measurements. Professional pictures are not necessary.

*FIT MODELS
Please send your head shot and full length shot, height and measurements. Professional pictures are not necessary.

*PARTS
Please send your hands or feet shot together with size. Professional pictures are not necessary.

*CHILDRENS DEPARTMENT
Please submit a current snapshot with the vital statistics written on the back. Make sure to include date of birth, height, weight, inseam, chest, waist, hips, and shoe size.

*COMMERCIAL PRINT DEPARTMENT
Please submit a current head shot or snapshot.

*SPORTS/FITNESS
Please send your head shot and full length shot, height and measurements together with a description of your specialty.

HOW DID STARS MODEL MANAGEMENT START
Founded in 1986, Stars Model Management maintains a staff of fifteen who service a broad range of clients, talent and international models. Scott Claxon, who has worked on both sides of the desk, is President of Stars Model Management. Many of Stars' staff and agents are former models and talent who understand the importance of teamwork and communication.

WHAT KIND OF MODELS DOES STARS MODEL MANAGEMENT REPRESENT?
The various divisions and services provided by Stars Model Management include:

*Fashion Print and Runway
Stars' models are discovered, developed and represented by the agency. They appear on covers of international magazines and walk the fashion runways of the world.

*Today's Woman (Plus Size-12+)
Stars 12+ models have been featured on the covers of international magazines and appeared in national and international advertising media for plus size fashion.

*Fit Modeling
Stars has worked with many apparel companies, locally, nationally and internationally, providing fit modeling services. Models provided have ranged from infants/children (boys and girls) to mature women and men, all different heights and measurements that fit the many categories of retail.

*Commercial Print Division
The commercial print division represents men and women, 25 - 80 for print jobs that feature a product. Stars commercial print models have appeared in numerous international magazines and advertising materials such as billboards, bus shelters and electronic media.

*Children's Division
Stars represents children, male and female, from 3 months to 18 years of age for fashion and commercial print, as well as runway shows and fit modeling. Stars children have been featured in national and international print campaigns.

*Latin Division
Stars Model Management recognized the importance of the growing Latin community in the United States and added the Latin Division in 2002. A large portion of our business involves Latin talent and we are proud of our accomplishments as the industry leader.
*Stars Sports Management Division
Stars represents athletes in various sports including the NFL, NBA, Cycling, Triathlon and NASCAR.

WHAT KIND OF SERVICES DOES STARS OFFER?
Stars has an on-site casting room for “go sees” and runway auditions. The Casting room is used by clients for photo shoots as well as for meetings, seminars and workshops. Of course, there is no charge for clients auditioning Stars models. Contact your Stars agent for more details.

WHAT KIND OF CASTING FACILITIES RESIDE AT STARS?
Stars has a fully equipped state of the art digital studio with same day turnaround available. Your files are delivered in Quicktime Movie (.mov) format. We have technical support available. You may also provide your own camera.
